Supporting the Well-Being of Child Therapists
Through comfort, community, and resources that sustain your work.
Hi there! I’m Sarah Scott Dooling.
Play therapist. Trainer. Speaker.
When I was 10 years old, I opened a therapy practice in the corner of my living room. My family were my first clients, sharing their thoughts, feelings, hopes, and dreams.
I was hooked.
Since then, I’ve formalized my work with the requisite education, licenses, and certifications.
I’m now a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and Registered Play Therapist Supervisor. I’m also still that person who wants to provide comfort, kinship and hope to others.
I consult with organizations that provide school-based clinical services, supervise kid therapists pursuing a play therapy credential, and run a private practice.
I also love reality TV, gardening, and laughing so hard my stomach hurts.

“Let’s Get Organized” Session for Play Therapists
The adventure of becoming a Registered Play Therapist is exciting and energizing. It can also feel overwhelming, complicated and downright confusing. You deserve an extra dose of support and guidance as you begin to navigate the process. This one hour consultation session will give you the practical and conceptual tools and takeaways you need to help you feel more confident on your RPT adventure.

Play Therapy Workshops
These workshops offer trauma-informed, play-based training that helps you deepen your skills, reenergize your practice, and feel less isolated in your daily work.
Each workshop blends hands-on tools with thoughtful, trauma-informed guidance. But what makes them truly powerful? The connection, reflection, and inspiration that only happen in community.

Kinship Club
Kinship Club is an online membership community where kid therapists can learn and experience comfort, connection and FUN. Co-experiencing joy, delight and hearty belly laughs with like-minded and like-hearted Helpers and Healers nourishes me in the best way.

Sarah is a recognized trainer for kid therapists, educators, industry groups, and associations. She presents workshops on play therapy, clinical supervision and compassion fatigue among others.
Her workshops keep participants engaged with highly creative and interactive components to offer an exceptional and fun learning environment.
